The Dr. Hara and Biju Misra Student Research ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ was created by their son, Bhaba Misra, DO, ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ Class of 2007, to honor his parents. His father, Dr. Hara Misra, is a professor emeritus at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ, and his mother, Biju, is a long-time supporter of the students, faculty and staff at ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ. This award is given to students to assist with the travel expenses when presenting winning research posters at the annual Osteopathic Medical Conference and Exposition and other conferences.
